“Alone we go fast, together we go further”
During my Billabong years (2001-2014) in Europe and Australia as a graphic and textile designer, working with surfers, snowboarders such as Bode Merril, Wolle Nyvelt, photographers and film-makers was the most exciting part of my job. Responding to their needs and designing a silhouette that satisfies them through innovation and functionality has been a day-to-day creation. This would not have been possible without a team (developer, manufacturer and product manager). These years have given me a lot of satisfaction and have turned encounters from all over the world into friendships. In Paris (2014-2018) I was able to deepen my skills thanks once again to the nice people I met. Japanese pattern makers and manufacturers became friends thanks to the many meals we shared. My atypical background and different experiences have forged my vision of innovative design without compromising on style. Back in Bayonne in the Basque Country, I am now a freelance graphic and textile designer. What I enjoy most is taking part in a team project, so “let's go together”.
